A few hundred Bernie Sanders supporters piled into the Greater Denton Arts Council building on Sunday, February 14, 2016. The rally, organized by North Texas Campaign Director David Sanchez, was aimed at galvanizing voters to come out for the upcoming early Democratic primary elections. The event featured a keynote address by Denton native and political activist Jim Hightower, and a live performance by Jessie Frye.
